Welcome to JBER Library- your mall of information.
Our full service library strives to connect our customers and the information they want with the information we have. JBER Library is located in the Education Center, on the first floor of Bldg. 7, JBER-Richardson side. In addition to fiction and non-fiction titles for all (adult, young adults, juvenile, and children) JBER Library offers audio books, ebooks, movies, and computer-based programs to meet your educational and recreational reading needs. JBER Library offers an Alaskana section filled with Alaska history and information to maximize your Alaska experience. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the facility. The computer lab houses 31 CAC enabled computers. Other business services include scanners, local FAX, and printing. A separate study room is filled with CLEP and Dantes study guides along with additional support material.
Language studies are available through on-line databases or as material to check out. Our Military Reading Room serves as a quiet place to study and houses military reading materials for all branches of service.
Programs are offered for all ages, including 5 preschool storytimes each week. Other popular programs include Surprising Science and Summer Reading for all ages. Be sure to enjoy the children’s Dial-A-Story line at 1-907-384-2665.
